Colt Single Action Army revolver , .32-20 caliber, blue and case hardened finish, hardrubber grips, with long fluted cylinder, serial #331676. The pistol remains in original near fine condition showing 50-70% original blue on barrel and cylinder, evenly thinning and toning with just some slight scratches, a couple of dings, and normal aging. The frame shows 70-80% case hardening with some very vivid areas and colors evenly distributed over the entire surface of the frame. The backstrap and triggerguard show 30-60% thinning original blue, the hammer shows 75-85% original case hardening. The grips are very good plus to near fine and fit impeccably. The front sight has been trimmed slightly, the action is crisp, the interior very good plus with bright bore. Sharp markings, a desirable variation of the single action of which only approx. 1,000 were produced using leftover 1878 cylinders. All matching visible serial numbers from an important Texas collector who took nearly a decade to upgrade it. Est: $3,000 - $6,000
