Colt Single Action Army Revolver. 7 ½" barrel is chambered for 44 C.F and has a very good bore. The top of the barrel is marked, "Colt's Pt. F.A. Mfg. Co. Hartford CT USA" The left side of the frame is marked, "Pat. Sept. 19, 1871" over "July 2 -72" over "Jan 19 -75." The left side of the triggerguard is marked 44 CF Serial number 76,736 is on the frame, triggerguard, gripstrap and cylinder; the loading gate is stamped "1713". The wood grips are sound, crack-free and retain about 30-40% finish. The letters "DG" are carved into the right grip. Most metal surfaces are a mix of gray and light brown. This pistol comes with a factory letter which states this pistol was one of fifty shipped to Hartley & Graham, New York, New York on May 1, 1882. This is a very tight, well-working black powder single action army. This pistol also comes with an original, unopened box of Winchester ammunition in two-piece box with green label. This ammo is in outstanding condition and it has an illustration of a Winchester model 1873 rifle on the side.
