Colt Single Action Army Revolver, .45 cal, 7-1/2" barrel, U.S. Martially marked and inspected. Serial #113367. The revolver shows a replacement 44 caliber commercial barrel with early black powder cyl. that has been reworked for blanks and the rear of cylinder reduced for this purpose. Note: Not safe for firing live rounds. The frame shows a large "S" above the serial #'s indicating ownership by Stembridge Gun Rental Company located on Paramount Studios Movie Lot. The frame is also stamped "RKO" with inventory # 3381 on left side. The grips are 20th Century simulated ivory replacements and the hammer is smokeless era. The action is good the bore is good, matching back strap and trigger guard. A large portion of the RKO inventory was purchased by Stembridge when RKO went out of business. This single action was bound to of been used in classicearly westerns, but rental records are almost impossible to research. Buyer pays all cost of materials, handling, packing etc. Buyer pays actual costs of shipping and insurance. All International purchases will be sent to an exporter for shipment to foreign countries.
