Colt Single Action Army Revolver, .44 Henry rim fire caliber, 7 ½” barrel, grey patina finish, wood, grips, serial #1066 with factory letter confirming all features except grips not listed and shipped to Schuyler, Hartley and Graham New York, New York on November 3, 1877, in shipment of 50. The Colt remains in good condition showing light cleaning, polishing. Well done restorations and retouching of numbers (retraced with engraving tool where light in a couple of places) but generally better than average overall with light refreshing to grips. Patent dates on frame weak. Good barrel address, good bore, good slot in frame, good and correct hammer, increasingly hard to find and a good deal having been shipped to England where due to the unobtainable hammer they are legal.
