American made, Colt 1st Generation Single-Action Army revolver chambered for .45 Long Colt, manufactured circa 1928 in Hartford, CT. Revolver features a high gloss blued refinish, a 5-1/2" round barrel, fixed blade front sight, notched frame rear sight, fluted six-round cylinder, collard cylinder pin head, niter blue thin smooth curved trigger, bird's head style ejector rod button, color-case hammer, firing pin on hammer nose, checkered hammer spur, smooth grip straps, and two-piece checkered black hard rubber grips with Colt insignias. Barrel stamped "COLT'S PT.F.A. MFG. CO HARTFORD CT. U.S.A." in one line on the top of the barrel, and the left side is stamped ".45 COLT". Two-line black powder patent dates are marked on the left side of the frame. The frame markings and serial numbers are sharp and legible. The frame and hammer are color-case hardened, and the screws and trigger are niter blue. A high gloss blued finish was applied to the remaining parts. The high gloss blued refinish retained is approximately 97% with very minor scattered nicks and scratches, and a light drag on the cylinder. The color-case finish is excellent with nothing remarkable. Metal displays no rust or deformation. Bore is bright with strong rifling, and the cylinder chambers are also excellent. Action is smooth and crisp with a tight lock-up. The hard rubber grips are excellent.
Condition is NRA Excellent.
