This is an original pre-WWI Colt Single Action Army (SAA) revolver in a 32 W.C.F. caliber. The rare firearm is accompanied by a Colt Factory letter that states it was shipped on May 25, 1908 to Coeur d’Alene Hardware Company in Wallace, Idaho. The firearm is a .32/20 W.C.F. caliber with a 5 ½” barrel in a blue finish. This is the only shipping address that received any Colt firearms for all of Idaho and is very rare. The top of the barrel is roll-stamped "COLT'S PT.F.A.MFG. Co. HARTFORD CT. U.S.A.". The left side of the barrel is marked "32 W.C.F” The left side of the frame is marked, “PAT’ SEPT. 19 1871 JULY 2.72 JAN. 19.75” with the circled Rampant Colt trademark. The assembly number, "4764" is stamped on the inside of the loading gate. The serial number "302575" is stamped on the bottom of the frame, trigger guard and back strap. The pistol features a set of black hard rubber grips that are checkered and have the Rampant Colt trademark in an oval at the top of the grip. Sold to R.K. Carter and Company. This is a rare authentic Colt SAA with original Factory Letter.
