Manufactured in 1957, the second year of post war production. Fixed sights, with the one line Hartford address on top of the barrel and "COLT SINGLE ACTION ARMY .38 SPECIAL" on the left side. The left side of the frame is marked with the two line, three dates patent markings followed by the Rampant Colt. Matching serial number on the bottom of the frame and left side of the front strap and backstrap under the grip. Fitted with plastic checkered two piece grips with the Rampant Colt in an oval at the top.

Condition: Excellent. The revolver retains 90% of the original blue finish with some thinning and wear on the muzzle and a smooth gray patina mixed with original blue finish on the grip straps. There are several minor scratches on the cylinder. The frame retains 98% original bright case colors with some mild fading to gray on the recoil shield. The grips are excellent with a few tiny dings and sharp checkering. Crisp and clear markings. The action is tight as new.
