Colt Second Generation Single Action Army Revolver in .38 Special
Manufactured in 1956, the first year of production for the Second Generation Single Action Army. Fixed sights, with the one line Hartford address on top of the barrel and "COLT SINGLE ACTION ARMY .38 SPECIAL" on the left side. The left side of the frame is marked with the two line, three dates patent markings just ahead of the uncircled Rampant Colt. Smooth trigger and checkered hammer. Grips are checkered two piece plastic with the Rampant Colt embossed at the top of each panel.

Excellent. The barrel retains 98% of the original blue finish with some thinning at the muzzle and a few minor scratches. The cylinder shows 98% of the original blue finish with a thin drag line and scattered nicks. The frame retains 90% of the original case colors with some minor spotting and fading. The trigger guard and grip straps retain 90% of the original blue finish with minor spotting and a few light nicks. Grips are excellent with crisp checkering and light handling marks. Mechanically excellent.
