Colt SAA revolver, ”US” marked Artillery Model, .45 cal., 5-1/2” barrel, blue and case hardened finish, wood grips, frame #9198. This gun is in overall good to very good condition showing approx. 65% arsenal re-finish and traces of casecolor in protected areas of the frame. The action is crisp, the bore is good, the markings are good and the grips are worn with several scattered nicks and mars but still show the inspector cartouche on the right grip and “R.A.C.” initialsstamped on the bottom of the left grip; the underside of the barrel is “P” proofed and also “R.A.C.” marked, the trigger guard strap is numbered “112433” with a “G” proof and the backstrap is numbered “121040”. Accompanying thisSingle Action is U.S. military black leather flap holster modified to fit the 5-1/2” barrel with three-stage holster flap and a black leather military belt with “US” brass buckle, both in worn but overall good condition.
