Colt SAA revolver, .45 Colt cal., 7-1/2” barrel, blue and case hardened finish, checkered hard rubber eagle grips, #136707. This gun is in overall very good + condition showing approx. 50% original blue on barrelassembly with strong traces on trigger guard and backstrap, silvery toning to frame with slight hint of original case colors in protected areas; very good bore, crisp action and very good grips; cylinder shows oldknackering on one horizontal area. Factory letter confirms features although “stocks not listed”; shipped to John P. Lower Sons, Denver, Colorado on November 29, 1890, 40 guns in shipment. A nice blackpowder SAA sent to a popular Western destination. Est.: $3,000-$6,000.
