Colt SAA revolver, .44-40 cal., 7-1/2” barrel, nickel finish, checkered eagle black hard rubber grips, #125205. This gun is in overall very good to near fine condition showing approx. 45% original nickel finishwith balance gone to a dark uncleaned patina, very good bore, crisp action, all matching visible serial numbers, very good grips showing even wear. This gun is accompanied by a factory letter confirming features andindicating shipment to Collins and Gordon Co., Omaha, Nebraska on February 18, 1888, one gun in shipment. Collins was advertised as the oldest gun and sporting goods house west of Chicago and the city was “wild andwooly” in the 1880s and 1890s; a really nice black powder single action sent to the West. We are open Tuesday thru Friday 10:00 am to 5:00 pm and Saturday 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. Little John's will be closed the Friday after the auction. Little John's will pay for packing and materials. Buyer pays actual costs of shipping and insurance. All International purchases will be sent to an exporter for shipment to foreign countries. International buyers agree to pay all cost incurred including all shipping, insurance, exporter fees, all custom and duty fees associated with shipment. Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Regulations apply and MUST be strictly followed.
