Colt SAA US Artillery Model revolver, .45 cal., 5-1/2” barrel, blue and case hardened finish as period altered and re-furbished by the factory or Springfield Armory, wood grips, #2713. This gun is in overall fine condition showing approx. 95% blue finish on the barrel, cylinder and straps and approx. 95% case color on the frame and hammer. The action is crisp, the markings excellent, the bore is fine and the grips are excellent with an “R.A.C.” stamping on the bottom of the left grip; there are no serial numbers on the trigger guard or back strap however there is an inspector’s “K” just in front of the trigger guard; there is an “R.A.C.” stamped on the underside of the barrel at the front of the frame and an “R.A.C.” stamped on the back of the cylinder. A beautiful conditioned Colt Artillery Model. Est.: $10,000-$15,000.
