Colt SAA Cal .45 Colt SN:338184 shows blue and case hardened finish, hard rubber grips, 7 1/2" BBL, letter "JTB" stamped at left rear of frame, revolver remains very good+ to near fine condition showing 90-95% blue on barrel just toning slightly andshows blue and case hardened finish, hard rubber grips, 7 1/2" BBL, letter "JTB" stamped at left rear of frame, revolver remains very good+ to near fine condition showing 90-95% blue on barrel just toning slightly and some small losses at mussel,excellent markings, front sight is full height, 80% blue on ejector rod housing with some spotting, 80%+ blue on cylinder with similar spotting with slight index line. The frame shows 50-70% model case hardening. There is aninteresting series of brand type letters stamped on right side of frame which may be a "Lazy 6 L-1" which appears to be a brand. The grips are very good+ and fit impeccably, the hammer shows 50-70% smoky case hardening, the action is tight, thebore is excellent. Interestingly this revolver is serial numbered on frame and backstrap 338184 and trigger guard is also matching with number on inside of 338184. this variation is desirable as it is in the period of time when Colt was movingthe numbers beneath the grips and few original specimens are known with 2 outside and 1 inside number which is proper in this range. No factory letter at time of shipment but probably went with this interesting brands. A great pre-war.

Purchases not paid within 14 days of final sale date will b e charged a 5% Late Charge, all accounts past due will accrue interest at the rate of 1.5% per month on the unpaid balance and compounded monthly. Storage will be provided at no charge for 14 days following the sale date and then at a rate of $5.00 per item per day unless prior arrangements have been made. Shipping is the responsibility of the Buyer and the Buyer must make all Shipping or Delivery arrangements on large items. Smalls will be packed and shipped by us at the buyer’s expense. We do not charge other than exact cost for smalls creating and shipping. Shipping insurance is the responsibility of the Buyer.
