Colt SAA 1st Generation blackpowder revolver, re-worked from .44RF cal. to 44-40 cal., re-nickeled and restamped with replacement smooth wood grips, #308. This gun is in overall very good condition as restoredshowing the majority of an old re-finish, replaced cylinder pin, fair bore, very good action, barrel and frame markings hand cut, serial number correct for rimfire SAA series, may have been freshened at time ofre-furbishment; grips overall good with some wear and scratches. This gun was re-worked by Harry Hubble circa 1960’s-1970’s for his personal preference; a real antique SAA Colt that has been modified. Est.: $900-$1,800.
