Colt Round Barrel Pocket Navy Conversion with ejector, .38 rimfire cal., 4-1/2” barrel, five shot, nickel finish, wood grips, #9765. This gun is in overall excellent condition showing approx.95% + frosted original nickelfinish, approx. 98% cylinder scene remaining, traces of original silver on straps in protected areas; crisp action, fair + bore with some scattered pitting; all matching visible serial numbers except cylinder whichappears to be a factory error (9785) as the cylinder is matched perfectly in condition with the balance of this gun; sharp markings, very good grips with some wear and a couple scattered mars from carry and storage. Areally nice Pocket Navy conversion of which approx. 2,000 were manufactured in the early 1870’s. Est.: $2,000-$4,000.
