Colt New Service DA USMC-marked revolver (USMC marking on butt strap), .45 cal., 5-1/2” barrel, blue finish, checkered wood stocks, lanyard ring, #129107. This gun is in overall very good condition showing approx. 70% original finish, very good bore, crisp action, sharp markings, worn but complete grips. Factory letter confirms features except type of stocks “Not listed”. The gun was shipped to the Commanding Officer of Camp Bowie, Fort Worth, Texas on November 6, 1918, 28 guns in shipment. Accompanied by a USMC-marked military flap holster that is for a .38 DA but is still a nice display piece; in overall fair condition with cracking and scattered flaked areas. Est.: $1,500-$3,000.
