Colt New Navy Model DA revolver, USMC marked on the left side of the frame and on the butt strap, .38 cal., 6” barrel, blue finish, checkered Colt black hard rubber grips, #159429. This gun is in overall good condition with traces of original blue in protected areas with the balance gone to a brown plum patina, good bore, action is good, markings are good and the grips are very good overall. Factory letter confirms features except type of stocks “Not listed”; shipped to the US Government, Assistant Quartermaster, US Marine Corps on July 12, 1901 in a lot of 50. Also accompanied by a USMC-marked leather flap military holster in overall very good condition. Est.: $1,500-$3,000.
