Colt New Line Pocket Revolver with Etched Panel
Produced in 1873, the introductory year for the 30 Caliber New Line revolver. German silver blade front and frame notch rear sights, with the two line Hartford address with flanking Maltese crosses on top and etched "COLT NEW 30" panel on the left side. 5-round fluted cylinder with "3538" on the rear face and knurled cylinder pin head. Casehardened frame with niter blue checkered hammer and spur trigger, and fitted with smooth bird head grips.

Condition: Fine, with 40% plus original finish overall. A mix of bright original blue and a brown/gray patina is visible on the barrel and cylinder, with the etched panel visible and some minor edge polishing and handling marks. Vivid niter blue on the hammer and traces on the trigger. Bright case colors visible on the frame, strongest in the protected areas around the side plate, with mild wear. Grips are fine, with some wear on the high points and pressure dents. Action is good.
