Colt Navy Model 1851 percussion revolver, .36 cal., 7-1/2” octagon barrel, blue and case hardened finish, wood grips, #98823. This gun is in overall very good condition showing a medium grey patina on metal surfaces with some scatteredpoints of erosion on the barrel and cylinder and some faint traces of case color on the frame and loading lever; the action is very good, the markings sharp and there is considerable original cylinder scene remaining; all matching visibleserial numbers with unmarked wedge; traces of original silver plate on trigger guard; the wood grips are good to very good with approx. 40% original finish and some scattered wear and mars from carry and storage. A really nice Civil Warera Colt Navy. Est.: $1,250-$2,500.
