Colt Model 1908 .25 cal. Pocket auto, factory engraved blue finish, medallion pearl grips, shipped to Abercrombie & Fitch, New York, NY, December 23, 1911, one gun in shipment, serial #61542, with factory letter confirming all features. The pistol retains 85-95% bright original blue toning and thinning nicely, with just natural aging and slight losses at the high points and edges. The markings are sharp, the edges are crisp, theengraving is well defined and probably by Helfricht. The medallion pearl grips are very good+ and are quite thick and show a nice toning. The trigger, safety and grip safety show 50-70% toning case hardening.All early features, good action, good bore, correct clip, in box with instructions, no serial number visible on box. A very limited number of pocket autos were factory engraved, and they are rare in blue finish.Est.: $4,000-$8,000

Little John's will pay for packing and materials. Buyer pays actual costs of shipping and insurance. All International purchases will be sent to an exporter for shipment to foreign countries. International buyers agree to pay all cost incurred including all shipping, insurance, exporter fees, all custom and duty fees associated with shipment. Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Regulations apply and MUST be strictly followed.
