Colt Model 1903 Hammerless Pocket U.S. Military Model semi-automatic pistol, cal. 32, Serial #555824. The pistol is in overall good to very good condition showing the majority of its blued finish with a 3 3/4" barrel. The pistol is marked"U.S. Property" on the frame and an odd marking on the left trigger guard bow. The pistol shows a loss of finish at the muzzle and slight surface erosion on the slide. The checkered, medallion wood grips show some flattening of the checkeringand mars consistent with service use. The bore is very good, markings sharp and action tight. The pistol comes with a World War II bring back letter dated 12th, December 1945. The letter indicates the pistol was then the property of S/Sgt. MiltonK. Heschke, K Company of the 175th Infantry.
