Colt Model 1902 Military Semi-Automatic Pistol
Manufactured in 1917. This pistol has the square butt, slide lock on the left side of the slide, lanyard swivel and eight-round magazine that distinguish it from the Colt Model 1902 "Sporting" pistol. Features rear slide serrations, barrel polished at the chamber and muzzle and unmarked blue magazine. Left side of the slide is roll stamped with the standard two block two line patent dates and Hartford address, with the Rampant Colt behind the serrations. Standard two line caliber markings on the right side of the slide. The left side of the trigger guard bow is stamped with a "1" assembler's mark on the lower rear and the Colt "VP/triangle" proofmark on the front top. Fitted with checkered hard rubber grips with "COLT" in a banner at the top and the Rampant Colt in a circle in the center.

Refinished with most of the period applied high polished blue finish remaining. There are some areas on the slide that show minor pitting under the finish and there is some light spotting on the backstrap. The grips are excellent with light handling marks and crisp checkering. The markings are clear. Mechanically fine.
