Colt Model 1902 Military Semi-Automatic Pistol, #36335, .38 ACP cal., 6'' barrel, high polish blue finish, fire blue small parts, factory checkered hard rubber grips, with one correct early nickel-plated magazine with Sept. 1884 patent date. Mfg'd approx. 1913, and one of the last guns to feature the high polish blue finish. Two-line slide with 1897 and 1902 patent dates, and later Rampant Colt logo without circle. Condition is about fine retaining 85%-90% original thinning factory high polish blue. Grips with light to just moderate flattening and minor checker losses. Action is crisp, bore is minty and bright, with near excellent magazine. Many of these pistols were shipped to England at the beginning of WWI, and this was one of Colt's most popular .38 ACP large frame pistol until the advent of the .38 Super. Est.: $2,000-$3,000.
