: Colt Model 1877 Lightning storekeeper's model. .38 Colt caliber, 3-1/2" barrel, nickel finish, hardrubber grips, serial #76407, made in early 1880's. The pistol shows approx. 75-85% original nickel finish which is peeling and flaking andareas where nickel has lifted show patina and show some pinprick pitting. The markings are good and sharp, the grips are good with some high point edge wear. The action is working, the bore is good, the cylinder pin shows some gripping marksand scratches. The hammer and trigger show considerable bright blue. All matching numbers. An above average frontier-period lightning with a desirable ejectorless or storekeeper's variation. Est: $700 - $1,400
