Colt Model 1861 Navy percussion revolver, military inspected parts and good cartouche on bottom of left grip, .36 cal., 7-1/2” round barrel, blue and case hardened finish, wood grips, #5819. This gun is in overall very good condition showing what appears to be an old factory or arsenal re-blue of which approx. 50% finish remains on the barrel and cylinder with approx. 75% muted case colors on frame, hammer and loading lever that may also be an old re-finish; fine bore, crisp action, sharp markings; approx. 50% cylinder scene remaining; fine grips with a little wear and some small scattered nicks and mars from carry and storage. A really hard-to-find Martially-inspected ’61 Navy accompanied by a black military-style private commercially purchased leather flap holster and thin leather belt. Est.: $3,000-$6,000.
