Colt Model 1861 Navy conversion revolver, .38 CF cal., 7-1/2” round barrel, blue and case hardened finish, wood grips, #3355. This gun is in overall very good + condition showing a dark brown patina with scattered pin prickpitting and some spots of erosion; all matching visible serial numbers except the wedge that is un-numbered; fine bore, crisp action and markings, iron trigger guard and brass backstrap with the majority of itssilver finish remaining; grips are very good with traces of original finish remaining, some wear and old mars from carry and storage; a very nice ’61 Navy conversion of which only approx. 2,200 were produced.Est.: $2,000-$4,000.
