Colt Model 1860 Army revolver in .44 percussion caliber showing U.S. Martial marking serial number 76133. This Colt shows faint traces of original blue and case hardening mixed in with a patina finish.There is some scattered light to moderate erosion and surface pitting with a couple of areas of slightly heavier pitting on the left front of the muzzle and a couple small areas also on the cylinder. The barreladdress is sharp. The cylinder shows 30% to 50% cylinder scene going slightly light and the grips both show outlines of cartouches. The right grip shows a name carved in block letters that we cannot decipher. There arebattle notches carved on the edge of each grip and all matching visible serial numbers. There is some muzzle wear and the sight has been reduced in height. The action is good and the interior is good. There are somemarks and nicks around the wedge on the right side of the barrel lug and there are many scattered dings, mars and scratches from military use. A slightly above average Civil War era Army Colt. Est.: $900-$1,800.
