Colt Model 1860 Army revolver, in .44 caliber percussion, US martially marked and inspected, remaining in very good plus original condition, serial number 130994. The barrel shows approximately 50% to 70%original blue drifting on the edges and forward areas of muzzle. There is some slight scattered erosion and pinprick pitting most of which is occurring on the left side of the barrel towards the forward 4” where the Colt would have been carried in a holster. The barrel address is very sharp. Front sight has been trimmed just slightly. The cylinder shows 70% to 80% light original cylinder scene with partially visible engagementdates. There is a trace of blue on the cylinder and the balance of the finish is drifting to a light patina with only minimal erosion and pinprick pitting. All 6 cylinder pins are retained. The frame, hammer andloading lever show 40% to 60% original case hardening evenly aging with some minor erosion, slight pitting but still some very good areas of rainbow colors just muting slightly. The back strap shows 20% to 30%
