Colt Model 1860 Army percussion revolver, .44 caliber, 8” barrel, blued finish, brass trigger guard, iron backstrap, S/N 37457, all matching numbers including the wedge and cylinder arbor although interestingly, the gun has a fluted cylinder; wood grips. The gun is in overall very good + condition showing traces of what appears to be an old re-blue including finish on the hammer and loading lever as well as the barrel assembly and the case hardened frame; crisp action, good markings and overall good bore with some scattered pitting. Fluted cylinder is in similar condition to the rest of the gun and retains its pins on the back of the cylinder face. Est.: $2,000-$4,000.
