Manufactured in 1862 with a four screw frame cut for a shoulder stock. The top of the barrel has the one line New York address, the left side of the frame is marked "COLTS/PATENT", and the cylinder is marked "COLTS PATENT No 5810". Small inspector letters are present on most of the major components. Matching numbers on cylinder, barrel, frame, and grip straps. Fitted with a one-piece grip which has a period added Morgan silver dollar coin on the left side.

Condition: About good, showing mostly a brown patina. The trigger guard is cracked a the front screw. Traces of the cylinder scene remain. The grip is good with a few missing minor chips, a series of minor pressure dents on the bottom and "E.M.C.C." hand marked on the right side. Mechanically fine.
