Colt Model 1855 Revolving percussion shotgun, 20 gauge, 27” barrel, blue finish, wood stocks, #473. This Colt is in overall very good condition showing approx. 30% original blue on the frame and traces of blue in protected areas of the barrel with the balance gone to a brown patina with the cylinder’s patina matching this brown; cylinder and barrel are English proofed; action is good, bore is fair, markings are sharp, wood stock is very good with just a couple of small mars from storage; steel butt plate, brass ramrod.
