Colt Model 1851 percussion revolver, .36 cal., 7-1/2” octagon barrel, blue and case hardened finish, wood grips, #104138. This gun is in overall very good to fine condition showing scattered original blue in protected areas of barrel, majority of original cylinder scene remaining including crisp engagement date; considerable muted original case colors on the frame and loading lever; patina on this crisp and tight Navy is evenand matching throughout; all matching visible serial numbers, very good bore, crisp action, considerable original silver plating on the trigger guard and strong traces of original silver on backstrap; grips areoverall very good with lots of original finish with old scattered scratches and mars from storage; an overall very nice example of the ’51 Navy that to improve upon would cost considerably more than this estimate.
