Colt Model 1851 Navy percussion revolver, .36 cal., blue and case hardened finish, wood grips, #148380. This gun is in overall good to very good condition showing a muted blue patina on the barrel with some bright blue around the wedgearea, matching blue patina on the cylinder that shows the majority of its original cylinder scene; muted traces of case colors on the frame and loading lever; good action and bore, all matching visible serial numbers except mismatched wedge and some knackering around the right side of the wedge port; good action and bore, good markings, older replaced brass front sight; wood grips are overall good with some wear and scattered small mars and scratches. A nice ’51 Navy. Accompaniedby a tan leather commercial flap holster in overall good condition, unmarked and appears to be circa 1930’s-40’s Est.: $900-$1,800.
