Colt Model 1849 Percussion Pocket Revolver
Manufactured in 1862. Standard one line New York barrel address, "COLTS / PATENT" on the left side of the frame, the number "6" on the left side of the trigger guard, and the stagecoach holdup scene on the cylinder. Matching serial number on the barrel, frame, trigger guard, backstrap, loading lever, cylinder, and wedge. Fitted with a one piece varnished grip.

Condition: Very good. The barrel retains traces of original blue finish on the underside with the balance a mottled brown-gray patina. The cylinder has a smooth brown gray patina with most of the roll engraved scene remaining. The loading and frame retain scattered traces of original case colors with the balance a smooth gray patina (darker on the frame). The brass has a mixed aged patina with strong traces of original silver plating retained on the trigger guard. There are a few missing chips on the bottom edge, otherwise the grip is very fine with some minor pressure dents on the bottom and some minor dings and scratches overall. Most of the varnish remains.
