Colt Model 1849 Percussion Pocket Revolver
Manufactured in 1853. Two line New York address in brackets, "COLTS / PATENT" on the frame, and the stagecoach holdup scene on the cylinder. The number "3" appears on the barrel lug and cylinder. Matching numbers on the barrel, frame, trigger guard, backstrap, cylinder, loading lever, and wedge. Fitted with a smooth one piece grip.

Condition: Very good plus. The revolver has a crisp mottled brown-gray patina with some scattered traces of original blue finish on the barrel and a few patches of silvered out case colors on the frame. There is some scattered pin point pitting. Most of the cylinder scene remains. The brass has a fine aged patina with traces of original silver plating present on the trigger guard. The grip is very fine with some minor dings and scratches, with most of the varnish remaining. Mechanically fine.
