Colt Lightning double-action storekeeper’s model revolver, .38 caliber, 3-1/2” barrel, nickel finish, hardrubber grips, serial #76407. The revolver shows 50-70% original nickel, evenly thinning and flaking. Areas where finish lost, show light erosion and pinprick pitting. The markings are good, the action is good, bore good. Bright blue on back of hammer still evident. Generally good overall. All matching visible numbers. Made mid-1880’s. A good frontier era Lightning. Est: $600 - $1,200
