Colt Hartford-English Dragoon 2nd model, .44 cal. percussion, finely original English scroll engraved with rare squareback trigger guard, in English style case with accessories, serial #160. The revolverremains in original very good condition, showing slight traces of original finishes within a gray patina, with sharp metal surfaces and well defined high quality English bank-note scroll. The barrel shows a New York address and the edges are sharp and crisp with about 75-85% original cylinder scene, model U.S.M.R. and Colts patent mostly visible. The left side of the frame shows a hand cut Colts patent in the middle portionof the frame. The backstrap and trigger guard show 40-60% darkened silver and are finely engraved to match. The pistol is fitted with deluxe varnished burl wood grips which are very good+ to near fine condition,showing just slight edge wear, minor marks, slight imperfections and at least 80% varnish. We are open Tuesday thru Friday 10:00 am to 5:00 pm and Saturday 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. Little John's will be closed the Friday after the auction. Preview on October 27th 7 28th 9:00 to 11:00 am each day.

Little John's will pay for packing and materials. Buyer pays actual costs of shipping and insurance. All International purchases will be sent to an exporter for shipment to foreign countries. International buyers agree to pay all cost incurred including all shipping, insurance, exporter fees, all custom and duty fees associated with shipment. Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Regulations apply and MUST be strictly followed.
