Colt Detective Special, .38 special caliber, 2” barrel revolver. Finely scroll engraved, gold inlaid, signed K. Hurst beneath the grips and on inside of frame, serial #P23276. The revolver shows flush gold inlaid border with a panel on left frame of mountain goat and eagle on right side of frame. The pistol shows 98% restored blue finish, accomplished at time of engraving. With factory type pressed wood checkered extended wood grips in fine condition showing just slight wear and minor use. Ken Hurst is a very well recognized engraver who works for the Colt factory and on private commissions. From the Robert Petersen Collection. Est: $900 - $1,800

Little John's will pay for packing and materials. Buyer pays actual costs of shipping and insurance. All International purchases will be sent to an exporter for shipment to foreign countries. International buyers agree to pay all cost incurred including all shipping, insurance, exporter fees, all custom and duty fees associated with shipment. Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Regulations apply and MUST be strictly followed.
