Colt Civilian Model SAA revolver, .45 cal., 7-1/2” barrel, blue and case hardened finish, wood grips, #69579 with factory letter in overall very good condition showing all matching visible numbers including the barrel, traces of originalblue in protected areas of barrel under the ejector rod housing, on ejector rod, in flutes of cylinder and on straps; crisp action, fine bore, good markings and good grips with some original finish remaining and wear from carry and handling; accompanied by a factory letter confirming caliber and finish with barrel length and grips “Not Listed” but “Remarks” section indicating for the time period, the 7-1/2” barrel and walnut stocks were standard issue; shipped to Hartley &Graham, New York, NY on Aug. 5, 1881, 50 guns in shipment.
