Colt Bisley Model single action revolver, 32-20 cal., blue and case hardened finish, hard rubber grips, factory letter confirms features except grips not listed; shipped to Wyeth Hardware, St. Joseph, MO. Jan. 28, 1908, 5 guns in shipment,#301465 with factory letter. The revolver remains in very good + original condition showing 80%-90% bright and inky blue finish on barrel and cylinder drifting on the edges, some light scratches with index line between cylinder stops;the front sight has been trimmed half way down; the ejector rod housing shows 60%-80% blue drifting on the edges; the frame shows 20%-30% case hardening with some bright areas drifting to a light silver patina; the backstrap and triggerguard 60%-80% thinning blue, the small parts, trigger and screw show some bright original finish. The grips are very good + to near fine and fit impeccably; the hammer shows 50% case hardening; the action is tight; the bore is verygood + and the gun locks tight as a bank vault. A well-cared for Bisley with a lot of bright original finish. Est.: $1,500-$3,000.
