Fine. The barrel retains approximately 60% of the original blue finish with the balance a smooth gray/brown patina. The muzzle has two dings on the outer edge. The frame retains 20% of the original faded case colors with the remainder showing a spotty gray/brown patina and shadows of case colors. The cylinder retains 75% of the original blue with thinning blue overall and a moderate drag line. The grip strap and trigger guard show half of the original blue with a spotty gray/brown patina on the balance. The otherwise fine grips are both aging to a brown color, the left panel is lighter in color and has a repaired crack, the right has a chip missing (approximately 1 x 1/2 inch) and a crack near the butt. Mechanically excellent.
