Manufactured in 1909 and subsequently restored in the 20th Century. The top of the barrel has the one line Hartford address with factory replacement "(BISLEY MODEL) 45 COLT" on the left side and the two line, three patent dates are marked on the left side of the frame followed by the circled Rampant Colt. The matching serial number is marked on the frame, trigger guard and back strap, (restamped) with the assembly number "3086" on the loading gate. The upper left front of the trigger guard is marked with the Colt "VP" triangle proof (partially visible) and "W" on the left rear. Blue finish with casehardened frame and hammer, blade front and frame notch rear sights, and fitted with checkered walnut grips. Colt manufactured approximately 44,350 Bisley revolvers from 1894 to 1915. Comes with an unmarked reproduction two piece black box.

Professionally refurbished to near mint with a barely noticeable, very faint drag line on the cylinder and overall light handling/storage marks. All markings have been restamped. Mechanically excellent. The modern box is near excellent with a couple small tears and one separated corner on the lid.
