Colt Bisley Model Single Action Army Revolver with Tex Terry Inscription
Manufactured in 1905. Features a fixed blade front sight and notch rear sight. The barrel is marked with the one line Hartford address on the right and "COLT SINGLE ACTION ARMY .38 SPECIAL" on the left side. The two line, three patent dates marking with the circled Rampant Colt is marked on the left side of the frame. Matching serial number on the frame, trigger guard and backstrap. The frame is stamped with an "S" above the serial number. Writer believes this to be the studio rental company mark). The number "8515" is stamped on the loading gate with the Rampant Colt stamped on the rear face of the cylinder. The butt is marked "TEX TERRY". Fitted with stag grips. Included is a notarized letter explaining some of the markings on the gun and a synopsis of Edward "Tex" Terry's career as well as pictures of "Tex", one with Roy Rodgers and several others, and a news paper article.

Completely refinished. The barrel retains most dull blue finish with thinning and scratches overall. The frame retains 90% of the new blue finish with some edge wear and scratches overall. The cylinder retains 80% of the original blue finish with scratches and thinning overall. The grip strap and trigger guard retain 95% of the new blue finish with some spotting and thinning overall, as well as some minor covered over pitting. The markings are all crisp. The grips are fine as replaced with light handling marks overall.
