According to the factory records, this revolver was part of a 10-gun shipment to A. Baldwin & Company of New Orleans, Louisiana on August 3, 1903. The caliber, barrel and finish are confirmed by the letter, with the grips "Not Listed". Fixed sights, with the one line Hartford address on top of the barrel, "(BISLEY MODEL) 41 COLT" on the left side and the two line, three date patent marking on the left side of the frame followed by the circled Rampant Colt. The matching serial number is marked on the frame, trigger guard and back strap with the assembly number "2131" on the loading gate. With checkered hard rubber grips with the Rampant Colt in an oval at the top.

Very fine as professionally refinished, with nearly 97% of the blue remaining, showing a small amount of covered-up pitting on the cylinder and mild handling marks overall. 30% of the original case colors remain on the frame, with a mixed gray and brown patina overall. The grips are very good with some minor chipping on the interior and mild pressure dents. Mechanically fine.
