Colt .58 caliber rifled musket dated 1863 on lock and 1862 on breech, in fine to near excellent original condition with New Jersey markings on breech and left side of stock. The mounts, barrel, and lock show original arsenal bright with no polish or cleaning, just some slight dried oil and beginning minimal age. The stock is near excellent with crisp edges, minimal losses along ramrod channel, and just a few scratches with sharp edges. The original period ramrod and sling are retained. The sling shows Wilkinson maker’s mark and US inspections. The bore is fine to excellent, showing just some dried oil and no evidence of firing. Est: $1,500 - $3,000

Little John's will pay for packing and materials. Buyer pays actual costs of shipping and insurance. All International purchases will be sent to an exporter for shipment to foreign countries.
