Colt .38 Super semi-auto pistol, .38 Super cal., 5” barrel, nickel finish, raised carved pearl grips, #6753 with factory brown covered cardboard box, instructions sheet and color factory advertiser “The New Super-38”; also included is a factory letter confirming caliber, finish, barrel length and pearl grips; shipped to Photo Materials & Paper Company, Cebu Cebu, Philippine Islands on Sept. 3, 1930, 6 guns in shipment. Thisgun is in overall fine to near excellent condition showing approx. 96% original finish with only scattered minor edge wear and spots of erosion along top front of right side grip, right rail behind ejector port ofslide, around magazine port and on lower back of grip strap; otherwise finish is bright; action is crisp, bore is fine, interior is also fine, grips are beautifully iridescent with finely executed raised carving on theleft grip of an eagle over stars and stripes shield, an age crack line can be seen on each side of the grips but neither has compromised the integrity of either slab and both sides fit the gun snuggly.
