Colt #3 derringer .41 caliber rimfire transition with standard hammer and curved grip, finely factory style engraved, silver plated, varnish wood grips, serial #25061 with “E” marking beneath the frame. The barrel shows traces of original plate drifted to grey metal with some light to moderate erosion and pinprick pitting and some slightly heavier pitting on the right front sight of muzzle. The frame shows 50-60% original silver drifting at the edges with some slight wear at the high point where the bolt locks the barrel and some slight filing there. The grips are very good with 50-60% varnish. The markings are good, generally good overall. The engraving is definitely to the 19th century and the small parts and screws show considerable original color. From the Howard “Bud” Goebel collection. Est: $1,500 - $3,000

Little John's will pay for packing and materials. Buyer pays actual costs of shipping and insurance. All International purchases will be sent to an exporter for shipment to foreign countries.
