Colt 2nd model ring trigger Paterson revolving rifle, .44 caliber, 8-shot, 32” heavy octagon barrel. Side attached ramrod serial #336. Refer Flayderman 5B-012. This improved model shows capping channel in recoil shield rounded back to cylinder and side mounted loading lever. One of only approx. 500 produced. The barrel measures nearly 7/8” across the flats. The barrel shows strong traces of original blue within a browning patina, some scattered light to moderate erosion and pitting. The edges are sharp, the barrel address is crisp. The barrel shows some cleaning long ago and a few marks at the edges. Retains its original front and rear sight. The cylinder shows 85-95% original cylinder scene with Centaur shooting deer, etc. The cylinder shows light cleaning as does the rear of the frame and some erosion and pinprick pitting. The bottom of the frame shows 40-50% original case colors drifting to grey. The visible serial numbers on major components all match. The wedge is also matching. The bore is bright and the wedge shows considerable blue. The top of the tang shows a trace of blue and some cleaning also long ago. The stock is very good plus with some dings, mars,

Little John's will pay for packing and materials. Buyer pays actual costs of shipping and insurance. All International purchases will be sent to an exporter for shipment to foreign countries.
