Barrel address reads ADRESS SAML COLT NEW YORK CITY left side of frame COLTS PATENT with US below. Serial numbers match on barrel, frame cylinder and grip strap with the numbers on trigger guard punched over. Good action and showsa good bore. A nice Dragoon used by Texas Rangers and U.S. Dragoon through out Texas and Mexico in the period.
