Colt 1st Generation Single Action Army Revolver, #338765, .38 W.C.F. cal., 4.75" barrel, blue and color case hardened finish, checkered hard rubber Rampant Colt grips, with standard fixed sights. Marked "911" inside the loading gate. Barrel address is marked in two-lines on top; left side "38 W.C.F." Left side of the frame with two-line patent dates and "(Rampant Colt)" logo. Matching serial numbers on the interior of the back strap and back of each grip. Mfg'd 1920. Revolver is in fine condition, retaining approx. 75%-80% blue, showing general thinning and toning, with scattered scratches and a few spots of mild pitting along the barrel. Frame and hammer retain approx. 80% color case hardened finish, showing typical muting and is brighter in the protected areas. Grips are in fine condition, with sharp checkering detail, and a small chip at the base of the right panel. Interior of both grips are etched with matching serial numbers. Action is good with all four clicks and good timing. Bore is very good, displaying moderate wear, with clearly defined rifling. Est.: $2,000-$3,000. (C&R)
